Biography
Pilot Montaser Mannaa Mayhoub, has been appointed the Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation on December 22, 2019.
He was Advisor to the Commander of the Egyptian Air Force.
He has than 30 years of experience in the Military and Civil Aviation field. In 1982, he received his Bachelor degree in Aviation & Military Sciences from the Egyptian Air Academy, followed by Master's Degree in Military Sciences. He received the Higher War College Military Academy and Air War College Fellowship from USA.
Throughout his career, Pilot Mayhoub had held several executive positions as Air Force Brigade Commander, and Chief of Air Force Armament Branch.
Pilot Mayhoub, had worked as the Assistant Defense Attaché in Washington DC and the Chief of defense Procurement Office in Paris to gain a unique diplomatic experience.
He has a post Graduate Diploma in General Management from Helwan University, and he has a Master's Degree theses in Implementing Quality Assurance Systems, and the Higher War College Fellowship Theses in Comprehensive Quality, in addition, he is a Licensed Commercial Pilot. He was appointed the Deputy President of Civil Aviation Authority for Aviation Security (April 2017 - January 2019).
In recognition to his work devotion, Pilot / Mayhoub, has been granted several awards and decoration, among which the Republic Merit (Second Class), Medal of Military Duty (First Class), French Legion of Honor (Knight Class) by the President of France's Decree, and a Certificate of Appreciation and Excellency from US. Air War College.
Pilot Mayhoub, born in 1959 in Cairo, is married with two children. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
