Dr. Mohamed Fathy Taha
Prof. Mohamed Fathy Taha, former president of Egyptian Meteorological Authority, is the first meteorologist in the Arab and African countries
He participated in the drafting of the Charter of the International Meteorological Organization (IMO)
in 1947 in Washington, DC.
He was elected to the Executive Council for a period of up to a quarter century.
He served as President of WMO for eight years
